For the past couple of years we’ve provided the web site for the St. Mellion Business Show. The 2009 show is on 1st July this year and we’ve been asked to provide web site support again.

The show will be held across several of the suites in the hugely revamped main building and is on between 10:00 and 5:00.

For the last couple of years there has been between 90 and 100 stands there showcasing all sorts of companies from large BMW dealerships to Sole Traders.

We built the web site for the first show in 2007. It needed to provide both prospective Exhibitors and Visitors with full information and to allow them to book places on-line. Also available are a floor plan and seminar schedule.

The site has been very well received and consistently ranks top for Business Exhibition and Business Show Cornwall and well for Business Exhibition and Business Show Plymouth.

When you review the material on your web site, look at it from the point of view of a prospective client or customer.

They’ll be wanting to know what’s in it for them to look over your web site. They might be:

1) wanting to buy a product or service

2) looking for information – articles, white papers or just snippets

3) assessing your credibility and level of professionalism

4) looking for a myriad of other reasons

If it’s 1) then you’ll want to make sure your service or product list and pricing is up to date.

If it’s 2) then you’ll want to make sure that you’ve got quality, relevant information there.

If it’s 3) then you’ll want to make sure that the site looks professional, modern and error-free.

If it’s 4) then, well you’d better be a mind reader!
