MAC Security Solutions provide commercial & domestic security consultancy, products and services throughout the South West.

The Director, Mike Chart, has extensive experience within the UK and abroad with a variety of security products and technologies. Installations have included a palace in the Middle East and he was involved in the development of body-worn surveillance systems.

Most of their work is now based in the South West and includes a commercial premises with extensive remote CCTV monitoring, a large pub/restaurant, a school and an aquatic centre.

MAC Security Solutions did have a web site but it was purely Flash-based and wasn’t visible to people searching on Google. Mike asked us to replace it with something easy to use, professional and that would feature on the various Search Engines.

Looking at the different areas the business was targeting we suggested 3 separate web sites. One covered the parent company, one the commercial side and the other domestic and small business. Within a couple of weeks the sites were already featuring in Google searches.

You might think that starting a new business in the current climate is a bit risky. Not so one of our latest clients.

Cathy Doidge, the owner of Jennycob, has spotted a gap in the market for jewellery for horses. No, not rings and bracelets but brass rosettes for bridles and stockpins.

An ideal gift for horse owners and those showing horses or competing, they are inexpensive and unique. They really are unique as no two designs are the same.

Cathy is seeking to reach customers both within the UK and abroad. To do this she needed an e-commerce web site. After searching on Google, finding us and a few chats later, a custom web site based on an established e-commerce package with an html ‘front-end’ was developed.

Within 2 weeks it was ranking on Google for 3 of the 4 selected search terms.

Cometh the hour, cometh the company. Despite what we’ve said elsewhere, not all people and businesses are in such good shape. A new client of ours, one 2 three commercial help businesses and individuals with debt problems. They can help both those already in debt and those who want to avoid getting into debt.

As a new, modern company they knew the value of a professional web site. We were commissioned to design and build a site that would allow them to showcase their services and attract both associates and clients alike. The current climate has helped but their success has been phenomenal and has necessitated three office moves in the first eight months!

For the past couple of years we’ve provided the web site for the St. Mellion Business Show. The 2009 show is on 1st July this year and we’ve been asked to provide web site support again.

The show will be held across several of the suites in the hugely revamped main building and is on between 10:00 and 5:00.

For the last couple of years there has been between 90 and 100 stands there showcasing all sorts of companies from large BMW dealerships to Sole Traders.

We built the web site for the first show in 2007. It needed to provide both prospective Exhibitors and Visitors with full information and to allow them to book places on-line. Also available are a floor plan and seminar schedule.

The site has been very well received and consistently ranks top for Business Exhibition and Business Show Cornwall and well for Business Exhibition and Business Show Plymouth.
